And if RL and a gigazillion projects weren't enough, I'm going to sign up for the AU Big Bang. I've had this idea for a John and Ronon AU fic for a while now and this Big Bang (and deadline) is just what I need to get going. And yes, it is a totally new project that isn't in my list of future fics. *hangs head in shame* I'm hopeless. I hope I'm forgiven, but it just returned full force when I found out about this challenge and, God! I'm now putting The World You Know on possible hold until I write this one. My muse just slammed!

Yes, I come  home tonight, and in the headlights, see an animal skulking across the snow-covered yard. I'm like, is that a dog? No, way too small. Omygod, it's the fox, or maybe it's a tiny coyote. But it booked out of there. And then my headlights go further and there is the dog, sitting there on the patio, looking very happy. Thank god he's fixed! ;)

But, the dog is twice the size of the fox (pretty sure it was a fox as it's been in the yard several times) but will tell everybody to please not put the dog out and forget about the poor thing for hours in the freezing cold, even if he has more fur than a woolly mammoth and as much fat as a seal...

So, about halfway through this one, I came as close as I've ever come to scrapping the entire project. Guess I got frustrated but toughed it out and glad I did. I think its the song as its music style that I normally don't listen to much... kept throwing me off I think, but the song was such a perfect fit. I was watching this movie a few weeks ago and caught a bit of the song in the closing credits. The vid muse bit immediately. LOL

Well, after a couple of days of time to process my thoughts and feelings about Part II (and hubby's departure back down to London, giving me some time to write in peace), I am finally ready to put my thoughts down in writing.

Well, after three lovely weeks of having hubby home, Christmas/New Year is over and he has set off back down to London ready for the working week tomorrow. Boo. :(

He's been working away in London for two years now and I have gotten used to him being away and only seeing him at weekends but boy, it's hard when I've had him home for so long to see him drive off and to know I won't see him again for five days.

And Aimee has loved having him home. She loves her daddy to bits and every time she sees him she gives him a huge grin. I hope she doesn't miss him too badly.

Roll on Friday. :/

I had the most awesome dream in the night between the 31st and the 1st. It was so vivid that I had to get up and write it down in my notebook to post later.

It's John and Rodney friendship. It starts with both talking with a woman that had a big dark mark on her skin, right in the front of her neck. They wanted to know what it was.
